Facilities and Equipment
- Digital X-rays
Digital radiographs are one of the newest X-ray techniques around. With digital radiographs, film is replaced with a flat electronic pad or sensor. The X-rays hit the pad the same way they hit the film. But instead of developing the film in a dark room, the image is electronically sent directly to a computer where the image appears on the screen. The image can then be stored on the computer or printed out. One of the great advantages of this process is that the exposure is reduced substantially as compared to regular x-rays. - Intra Oral Camera
Intra oral Camera Reveals the Truth about Your Teeth Open Wide & Say "Aha!" People seldom have a clear idea of the actual status of their dental health. Even with lights and mirrors, it's tough to see anything but the front of your own teeth, or segments of the shadowed backs and side areas. But intra oral cameras have changed all of that. Now you can sit comfortably back in the chair while the dentist or hygienist inserts a handy pen-sized, camera-tipped wand into your mouth. Covered with a disposable plastic sheath for contamination prevention, the wand simply takes a video of the inside of your mouth and transmits the images via cable to a computing unit. The computing unit enlarges the full-color images and sends them to a TV screen. Aha! Suddenly both you and your dentist are able to view together every last detail of your oral health. - Diagnodent
Early Detection, Precise Correction Using DIAGNOdent technology allows us to catch more areas of decay sooner and with more precision. Further, it requires no x-rays. and is a relatively comfortable procedure. Not only can it help prevent the spread of decay. but catching decay early means fillings required are simpler and shallower. preserving more of the tooth. Finally. we're able to objectively monitor any suspicious areas without repeated x-rays, harm to tissues, or need for protective measures. - Patient Education "Casey"
THE CASEY INTERACTIVE SYSTEM -MULTIMEDIA PATIENT EDUCATION: Having a thorough understanding of the dental procedures we perform allows our patients to make informed decisions about their treatment. Our Casey Interactive System is stateof-the-art multimedia software that helps us educate patients in a clear, concise manner. It. has a wide array of modules on a variety of cosmetic and general dental topics. With our educational and diagnostic equipment, you'll always know what we're going to do, and why it's being done - ZOOM!
Zoom Now! Zoom Got its name from its speed-it's considered one of the fastest teeth whitening systems, and can fit easily into the most hectic of schedules. If you choose the in-office teeth whitening option, your teeth should look up to eight shades lighter in just one hour. Zoom! One-hour whitening is a light-activated teeth whitening treatment. After checking your teeth and gums to ensure they are healthy enough to handle bleaching, we can recommend if you are a candidate for Zoom! After three twenty-minute gel applications, your dentist will finish up the procedure with a five-minute fluoride treatment. - Nitrous Oxide Anesthesia
