Meet the Doctors

Dr. Wadhwa graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. She strongly believes in continuing education in order to provide the patients with the highest quality of care. She is committed to researching and purchasing all new technologies. She takes pride in getting to know our patients.

She is married and is blessed with two beautiful girls. She loves to travel and explore the world.

Dr. Gottimukkula graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine with honors.  She is very passionate about her work in dentistry.  With regular attendance at accredited CE programs on all aspects of dentistry, she is able to offer state-of-the-art treatment.

She loves to spend time with her family and travel.

Dr. Helman was raised in Colonia, New Jersey and is a 1974 graduate of Colonia High School. He attended Cook College of Rutgers University on a full baseball scholarship. He graduated in 1978 with a BS in Biology as well as achieving All American status in baseball.

Dr. Helman attended New York University Dental School and was in their last accelerated program graduating in 1981 at the top of his class.

Dr. Helman completed a one-year dental residency at Bergen Pines County Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey from 1981-1982. During this time, he was exposed to both medical and dental procedures which expanded the scope of his knowledge.

Upon graduation from his residency, Dr. Helman worked for Dr. H. Hugh Gardy of Maywood, New Jersey before starting his practice in Somerville. He served as associate team dentist for the New Jersey Nets and New Jersey Devils from 1982 to 1990. During this time he also assisted with treatment for the New York Giants. He was honored to be chosen as the team dentist for the visiting Italian soccer team during the 1994 World Cup.

Dr. Helman has practiced at his Somerville location, also known as Somerset Dental Group, since 1982 and continues to provide quality and compassionate care to all his patients. He is an active member of the ADA and has been a member of the prestigious Somerset County Seattle Study Club since its inception in 1996. This national model for continuing dental education keeps Dr. Helman up to date with the most current dental procedures and products available today.

Dr. Conti has trained from University of Medicine and Dentistry Of NJ as a General Dentist and has further specialized in Periodontics from the same. He is extremely well experienced in all aspects of managing diseases of the gum, bone and supporting structures of the teeth. He has also placed many Implants successfully and is our surgeon on site placing implants for our patients with great precision and skill.

Dr. Conti also does a lot of gum contouring and tissue and bone grafting for aesthetic cases.
